Position Overview:

The Latex Line Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining latex coating or foam production machinery used in manufacturing processes. This role ensures product quality, machine efficiency, workplace safety, and adherence to production schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate latex line machinery and related production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor production processes, machine settings, temperatures, and material flow
  • Adjust machine controls to maintain product specifications and quality standards
  • Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and compliance with company standards
  • Load raw materials and maintain proper material levels during production
  • Perform routine machine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Record production data, downtime, and quality control measurements
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Communicate with supervisors, maintenance staff, and quality control teams regarding production issues
  • Assist with changeovers, setup, and startup/shutdown procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work areaAll other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications & Skills (Required):

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
  • Experience with latex, foam, coating, or textile production equipment is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read gauges, measurements, and production specifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing or industrial facility
  • Exposure to heat, noise, chemicals, and moving machinery
  • Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • May require overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts depending on production needs

Education and Experience Requirements:
