Job Title: Lead Full Stack Developer (hybrid- onsite Monday- Thursday)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Full-Stack Developer to design and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. The successful candidate will lead the full software development lifecycle, from architectural design through deployment, utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring boot, and AWS.

An AI-first mindset is essential for this role. You will be expected to integrate AI-driven features and automation throughout the application stack and development process, utilizing modern AI tools and services like AWS Bedrock and AI assisted development environments such as Cursor AI.

In this leadership role, you will serve as a technical authority, collaborating closely with product managers, business stakeholders, solution architects, and DevOps engineers to align on priorities and deliverables. You will also mentor engineering team members, establish development standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers through design, coding, testing, and code review activities.
  • Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Angular (frontend) and Spring boot, Java (backend).
  • Encourage and apply an AI-first approach to development, using AI models and automation to enhance code quality, developer productivity, and product innovation.
  • Design and optimize relational database tables and queries to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Manage and deploy infrastructure on AWS using services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, AWS Glue, and AWS Bedrock.
  • Utilize modern AI enabled IDEs, such as Cursor, to accelerate development and maintain team efficiency.
  • Translate complex business requirements into well-structured technical designs and development plans.
  • Define, implement, and maintain coding standards, testing protocols, and CI/CD processes.
  • Promote continuous improvement through code quality reviews, automation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, including 2 or more years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in backend development using at least one of the following:
    • Node.js and NestJS, or
    • Java.
  • Strong experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Comprehensive understanding of AWS cloud architecture and DevOps best practices, including experience with AWS Bedrock and AI API integrations.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs, and microservices-based systems.
  • Sound knowledge of software design principles, application scalability, and security protocols.
  • Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Understanding of frontend optimization techniques and accessibility standards.
  • Previous experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows or AI model integration.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
