Job description

AC4S LLC is currently seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to join their team in Washington, DC. The qualified candidate will oversee all inventory management and sparing operations at the Northern Virginia warehouse facility, ensuring accurate real-time inventory visibility and equipment accountability in support of consular operations and COOP requirements. Administers the Government-approved COTS inventory management system, ensuring compatibility with ILMS and GTM access via a secure web-based dashboard.

Coordinates system upgrades and customizations on the DOS Intranet as directed by the AAS COR and GTMs. Directs production of standard and ad hoc warehouse reports on a bi-weekly basis and as requested, and oversees the annual physical inventory process, reconciling counts against system records and resolving discrepancies. Ensures quality control throughout inventory operations and supports scheduled and ad hoc Government inspections.

Manages spare equipment inventory including break-fix desktops, laptops, monitors, and components, ensuring quantities meet established SLAs. Oversees configuration and prioritized deployment of replacement hardware upon hardware failure and tracks items sent to manufacturers for repair, escalating delays affecting SLA compliance or COOP readiness. Experience and Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management, spare parts coordination, and IT asset lifecycle management.

Experience maintaining accurate inventory records using enterprise inventory or asset management systems. Ability to monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and maintain appropriate spare equipment levels to meet established service level agreements (SLAs). , and ensure data accuracy within inventory management systems.

Experience coordinating with logistics, procurement, service desk, and deployment teams to support hardware replacement and deployment activities. Knowledge of configuration management, asset accountability, and Government property management procedures. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience using inventory management, warehouse management, or IT asset management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple functional teams.

Ability to prioritize competing requirements while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational readiness. Commitment to quality assurance, customer service, and continuous process improvement. Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree with 6+ years of experience; OR Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 4+ years of experience.

Physical Requirements Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment. Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds . Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures.

Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations. Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations. Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment.

Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories. Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task.
