Job Description

International market development organization based in Washington, D.C. is seeking a global ethanol economics and policy manager to join its team. The individual in this role provides economic analysis of markets and policies related to global ethanol markets and organizational activities. In addition, the focus of this position is on providing data‑driven support for decisions by the director of global ethanol export market development leading to increased visibility for U.S. ethanol in international markets. This position is based in Washington, D.C.The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Job Requirements

Desired QualificationsThe minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in agricultural economics, public policy, energy policy, economics or business administration or international relations; an advanced degree is preferred. Prior experience or coursework in one or more of the following is preferred: international relations and trade policy, energy policy, agriculture policy, economics. Strong preference for candidates with experience in the biofuels industry. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
