Cotonou-Direct International Shipping LLC is a U.S.-based international logistics and trade company specializing in ocean freight forwarding, air freight forwarding, transportation brokerage, vehicle shipping, wholesale vehicle trading, and global trade services. We proudly serve customers throughout the United States and internationally, with a strong focus on West Africa, including many French-speaking countries.

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual who wants to build a long-term career in logistics. Whether you already have experience or are eager to learn, we provide hands-on training, professional development, and opportunities for advancement.

What You'll Do

  • Assist customers with shipping inquiries and booking requests.

  • Coordinate ocean freight, air freight, and domestic transportation.  Track international shipments and provide shipment updates.

  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customer files.

  • Communicate with ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and overseas agents.

  • Answer incoming calls and respond professionally to customer emails.

  • Maintain accurate shipment records and operational files.

  • Assist with transportation brokerage operations.

  • Support vehicle shipping and wholesale vehicle operations.

  • Learn export documentation, EEI/AES filing, and regulatory compliance.

  • Support day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.

This position includes a 90-day introductory (probationary) period. During this period, your performance, attendance, reliability, work quality, and ability to perform your duties independently will be evaluated.
