The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Special Investigations Unit is seeking a Special Investigator to conduct investigations throughout Arizona. This territory also includes portions of Nevada, a growing market where Cincinnati Insurance conducts business.
Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $88,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:

Conduct thorough investigations of questionable insurance claims and, when supported by the evidence, prepare referrals to appropriate enforcement agencies.
Be equipped with:
  • 5 years or more of investigative experience interacting with law enforcement, public investigative agencies and state governmental agencies preferred
  • experience in courtroom testimony on the local, state or Federal level
  • knowledge of civil and criminal law
  • the ability to self start
  • the discipline to work in a non office setting
  • the ability to work numerous files at one time, set priorities and stay organized
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • the ability to write thorough and detailed reports
  • experience and skills in interviewing
  • knowledge of public speaking skills for training purposes
