Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Claims Representative with experience in captive insurance programs.




Key Responsibilities


* Review, investigate, and manage claims within captive insurance programs from intake through closure

* Coordinate with TPAs, adjusters, brokers, legal counsel, and insureds to ensure timely and accurate claim handling

* Monitor claim reserves, settlement activity, and claim trends to ensure financial accuracy and program performance

* Analyze loss data and identify patterns, emerging risks, and opportunities for loss mitigation

* Assist captive members with claim-related questions, documentation, and reporting requirements

* Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations, captive program guidelines, and internal policies

* Prepare claims reports, summaries, and presentations for management, captive boards, and client meetings



Qualifications


* 3+ years of claims handling or claims administration experience, preferably within captive insurance, risk management, or self-insured programs

* Knowledge of workers’ compensation, liability, property, and/or commercial claims

* Understanding of captive insurance structures and alternative risk financing programs preferred

* Experience working with TPAs and insurance carriers


 Preferred Qualifications


* Claims-related licenses or certifications preferred*

* Experience with loss runs, reserve analysis, and claims trend reporting

* Familiarity with regulatory compliance and captive insurance operations

* Experience in healthcare, transportation, construction, manufacturing, or other captive-heavy industries is a plus
