Job Summary
Working as the Director of Operations you are responsible for maintaining the account along with the General Manager in accordance with the approved budget while meeting client expectations. You will conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while maintaining excellent relationships with employees, guests and the client as well as other departments within the operation. You will promote the professional growth and development of the entire team. You will be expected to foster strong interdepartmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.

Key Responsibilities:
ยท Plans and directs the operation of the assigned account in support the Key Performance Indicators
ยท Assist in development of common direction for the team. Sets priorities and makes team agenda and strategy clear to all team members
ยท Is knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
ยท Supports the development and implementation of programs that meet client needs and customer satisfaction
ยท Monitors financial reports of the account to ensure budgetary compliance with Regional and Corporate goals
ยท Interfaces with clients to maintain client satisfaction and account retention
ยท Resolves client and customer satisfaction or employee related complaints which have been elevated from Managers
ยท Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contact
ยท Trains, motivates and develops management personnel to achieve high level of morale and efficient use of human resources
ย

Preferred Qualifications:
ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, hospitality or related field, or equivalent degree or equivalent related experienceย 
ยท Proven ability to manage a team of six or more
ยท Minimum of two yearsโ€™ experience in multi-unit foodservice management
ยท Experience with multi-unit foodservice management with a combined managed volume of $3 million or greater
ยท Strong track record of driving customer satisfaction
ยท Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and P&L driven environment
ยท Proven ability to mentor and develop team members
ยท Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ย
