Role Overview

We are looking for a Managing Director, EdgeUno Compute, to lead and scale our GPU, bare metal, and cloud infrastructure business across Latin America and the Americas. This role combines executive leadership, operational discipline, commercial strategy, and infrastructure expertise to drive the next phase of growth for EdgeUno Compute.

The ideal candidate should be a highly execution-oriented infrastructure leader with deep experience operating cloud, compute, data center, or AI infrastructure businesses at scale. This person should understand the operational realities of high-performance infrastructure environments, including uptime, automation, cost optimization, capacity planning, reliability, and long-term scalability.

This role requires a strong builder mentality, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-growing and highly competitive market.

Core Responsibilities Business Leadership & Growth
  • Own full P&L responsibility for EdgeUno Compute across all operational regions.
  • Lead the strategic growth and expansion of EdgeUno’s GPU, bare metal, and cloud infrastructure business.
  • Define and execute business strategies focused on long-term scalability, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Identify market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expansion initiatives across AI, hyperscaler, enterprise, CDN, and cloud ecosystems.
Operational Excellence & Infrastructure Strategy
  • Oversee infrastructure operations with strong focus on uptime, SLA adherence, platform reliability, automation, and security.
  • Lead capacity planning initiatives, infrastructure scaling strategies, and long-term compute resource allocation.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives across infrastructure, vendors, operations, and platform management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure technical execution aligns with business objectives.
Commercial & Market Development
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to accelerate adoption of EdgeUno Compute solutions across strategic customers and markets.
  • Support enterprise, AI/ML, hyperscaler, CDN, and cloud customer engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic customer discussions, commercial negotiations, and executive-level relationship management.
  • Represent EdgeUno Compute at industry events, strategic forums, investor discussions, and executive meetings.
Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Build, lead, and scale high‑performing technical and cross‑functional teams across multiple countries.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, operational discipline, and execution excellence.
  • Support alignment between business, technical, operational, and commercial teams across the organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within cloud, compute, data center, infrastructure, telecommunications, or related technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of GPU cloud environments, bare metal infrastructure, virtualization, edge computing, and large‑scale infrastructure operations.
  • Proven experience managing or scaling a business unit with full P&L ownership and operational accountability.
  • Experience leading technical and cross‑functional teams across distributed or international environments.
  • Strong operational mindset with experience in infrastructure reliability, automation, scalability, and cost management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive leadership skills.
  • Fluent English required.

  • Spanish or Portuguese proficiency.
  • Existing network within AI, hyperscaler, cloud, telecommunications, CDN, or infrastructure ecosystems.
