We are seeking an Associate Director of Infrastructure and Architecture who will lead the engineers integrating 4 current and all future subsidiaries into enterprise technologies, processes, and teams. They will have ownership of 14 broad technology platforms while each subsidiary is moving through the integration pipeline.
The Associate Director, Infrastructure Architecture designs and develops IT infrastructure architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Associate Director, Infrastructure Architecture requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

Home Health, OneHome, Conviva, & Trueshore and future acquisitions are integrating their infrastructure and platforms into the enterprise technologies, processes, and teams. In order to realize the desired future state for M&A Integrations, this leader must have broad technology exposure and depth. Their engineering team will have ownership of the following technology domains for subsidiaries:

  • Distributed Compute Hardware, Hypervisor, Server OS, and Supporting Tooling
  • Public Cloud IaaS and PaaS from all Hyperscalers
  • Block, File, and Backup Storage
  • Distributed Databases
  • DNS & DHCP
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Public Key Infrastructure
  • Infrastructure & Platform Monitoring
  • Infrastructure & Platform Automation & Orchestration (IaC)


The Associate Director, Infrastructure Architecture performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new IT infrastructure products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 or more years of infrastructure and public cloud experience
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • 2 or more years of management experience
  • Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies
  • Experience implementing technologies with enterprise-wide impact
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a Technical Field
  • Agile, PMP, or PMI certification
  • IT M&A integration experience

Preference will be given to those who have hands on and leadership experience in many technology domains detailed below:

We are a small but mighty team and our technologies are the vehicle by which all CenterWell Home Health, OneHome, Conviva, and TrueShore patient interactions are made possible.

This candidate will marry strategy to tactics through associates and multiple teams of contractors.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$142,300 - $195,700 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
