JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops and manages the IT operating and capital budgets, providing leadership with forecasts, trend analysis, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies, risk management programs, vulnerability management, and security awareness initiatives.
  • Respond appropriately and immediately to any emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
  • Lead interview and selection process for new hires within the department.
  • Recommend, document and issue discipline, if applicable.
  • Develops and administers companywide reporting systems to assist management in determining operational efficiencies.
  • Responsible for long range planning and coordination of the operating plan and business systems.
  • Develops and administers a companywide uniform reporting system to determine the economic and operation effectiveness of the organization.
  • Directs research functions to evaluate potential uses of all advanced business systems techniques that might have other market applications.
  • Recommends to Senior Management methods of tying together existing computer systems and accompanying software development to provide management with information that will take into account economic conditions, market research and other business indicators used for planning purposes.
  • Responsible for identifying information systems and development of systems support for new business directions.
  • Assists in training and development of financial planning/control through systems planning, simulation techniques and possible operations research.
  • Inform senior management of budgetary requirements, operating effectiveness, trends and forecast.
  • Responsible for the accurate and efficient operation of procedures within the designated department.
  • Responsible for ensuring safety measures are established and maintained.   Promotes a safe work environment by complying with Delaware Park Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local Laws and OSHA Regulations.
  • Listens, evaluates, and responds to all complaints and inquiries and exercises good judgment in resolving problems.
  • Always maintains professionalism when working with other team members and/or guests.
  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivated employees. 
  • Participates in professional organizations that promote the development of Delaware Park.
  • Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.             

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive information technology leadership experience, including responsibility for infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, vendor management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences required
  • Gaming industry experience preferred. Equivalent experience in highly regulated industries such as hospitality, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or government will be considered.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the background check and maintain a license as required by the Delaware Lottery.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, pull, push, squat, grasp, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work with limited space, high volumes, minimal and/or bright lighting and variation of climate.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
