SENIOR DIRECTOR PERFORMANCE INFORMATICS page is loaded## SENIOR DIRECTOR PERFORMANCE INFORMATICSlocations: 6 Executive Plazatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR229440**City/State:**Yonkers, New York**Grant Funded:**No**Department:**Office Of The Chief Quality Officer**Work Shift:**Day**Work Days:**MON-FRI**Scheduled Hours:**8:30 AM-5 PM**Scheduled Daily Hours:**7.5 HOURS**Pay Range:**$192,000.00-$240,000.00**Job Summary**The Senior Director, Performance Informatics is responsible for leading the Data & Analytics team in the Network Performance Group as well as leading interdepartmental efforts at the medical center and healthsystem to enhance the ability to acquire and analyze data for quality/performance improvement efforts and provide expertise for the prioritization of quality topics where resources should be devoted. This includes, but is not limited to, contributing to strategic planning to improve Montefiore’s ability to respond to external pay-for-performance programs as well as improve Montefiore’s performance in public hospital rankings (e.g., CMS Hospital Quality Star Rating) , setting performance goals for performance improvement, facilitating quality/performance improvement activities by serving as an expert in health policy and quality measurement, advising and assisting with the acquisition of data needed to support quality/performance improvement activities, providing quantitative/analytic expertise to gauge success with meeting quality/performance improvement goals, and serving as a lead executive, in partnership with MIT, in establishing a standardized data governance and reporting infrastructure via the new enterprise reporting standard, Power BI.Qualifications:* PhD in Health Policy, Informatics, or other related health care field Required* 10+ years of experience in Data and Analytics Required* Leadership experience at a large academic medical center Required* Possess advanced training and experience in econometrics/statistics, data management, data reporting, and study design* Expert knowledge of federal and NY state health policy pertaining to quality and patient safety, quality measurement (QI) programs, and associated penalties/consequences and be able to operationalize this knowledge into tangible QI strategies and work products* Strong experience with quality measures and quality improvement methodologies* Ability to work with structured query language (SQL), PL/SQL desirable, and Oracle Developer or other related software Experience with at least one statistical software package (e.g., SAS, Stata, R, etc.), but experience in more than one preferred* Experience with visualization software packages (e.g., Tableau, Web Intelligence, etc.)* Knowledgeable about data warehousing, data models, and metadata* Experience partnering effectively across various levels of an organization (e.g., C-suite and other leaders, database engineers, business analysts, clinicians, etc.)* Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally as well as possess strong interpersonal skills Strong project management skills required* Strongly preferred ability to contribute to the education of medical students at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (i.e. hold faculty appointment of Assistant Professor or greater)Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
