Job Description

Our team is looking for a full‑time Design Director to support Publicis Groupe’s Global Marketing practice, with a specific focus on driving new business growth. This role is instrumental in winning key revenue opportunities by designing world‑class visual presentations and immersive meeting experiences for the world’s largest brands.

We are looking for a passionate hybrid creative with a sharp, strategic mindset who can translate complex briefs into high‑stakes creative that inspires both leadership and prospective clients. The ideal candidate prioritizes the fast‑paced demands of new business, valuing both speed and quality without sacrificing either.

Responsibilities
  • Pitch Leadership: Lead the design and creation of high‑level PowerPoint templates and full‑scale presentations for major pitches.
  • Pitch Theater & Experiences: Concept and create pitch theater and strategic experiential elements for meetings with top‑tier brands to ensure a best‑in‑class environment.
  • Executive Partnership: Partner directly with new business teams, executives, and global leadership to develop winning design concepts for the most significant global and regional pitches.
  • Multichannel Collateral: Concept and create bespoke print materials and digital collateral specifically tailored for high‑profile pitches and programs.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a dedicated designer assigned to support your workflows.
  • Workflow Innovation: Assist in building new approaches to design work and ideation workflows, including the use of AI to save time during intense pitch cycles.
  • Brand Quality: Act as a champion of brand standards and maintain the elite graphic aesthetic and quality required for Publicis’ new business efforts.
  • Deadline Management: Efficiently manage and execute multiple high‑priority projects at once to meet strict pitch deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of design experience, with a strong background working with new business teams; agency experience is preferred.
  • Management: Prior experience managing others is a significant plus.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio that highlights exceptional presentation work, layout design, and branding.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert skills in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • AI Proficiency: Familiarity with AI tools for image/video generation and ideation to drive efficiency in the creative process.
  • Leadership Interaction: Ability to easily liaise with and present to leadership and executive teams based on verbal or written briefs.
  • Flexibility: Impeccable attention to detail and a flexible schedule to accommodate the unique demands and hours of global pitch cycles.
  • Travel: Open to travel as needed for key meetings and pitches.

Additional "Plus" Skills:

  • Experience with Figma, XD, or Sketch.
  • Familiarity with photography and video production.
  • Proficiency in website creation, WordPress, or HTML/CSS.
  • A passion for creativity in any additional outlet or hobby.

Compensation Range: $118,000–$135,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
