About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44106!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 13–20 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
  • Perform continuous ECG rhythm monitoring and recognition as part of routine telemetry care
  • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
  • Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday as required
  • Complete facility orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (travel experience may substitute for the recent experience requirement)
  • Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required and must be in hand at time of submission
  • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
  • Active ACLS certification required
  • Active NIHSS certification required
  • One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required — co-worker references will not be accepted
  • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • 18 months of permanent experience within a single facility location in the specialty
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
