Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?

You will be accountable for developing and implementing AI-based solutions targeting major pain points within the adjudication, governance, and risk oversight functions of Commercial & Wholesale Credit Risk (CWCR). The majority of time is spent designing, building, and deploying scalable AI solutions while establishing the strategic framework and governance required for sustainable implementation. You are expected to be a strategic bridge across the broader team, leveraging the full breadth of capabilities to tackle some of our most pressing issues.

What will you do?
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities across adjudication, governance, and risk oversight functions within CWCR.
  • Design and deploy scalable AI solutions addressing process inefficiencies while maintaining enterprise standards and reusability.
  • Develop comprehensive AI strategy aligned with organizational goals for adjudication, governance, and risk oversight functions.
  • Establish governance frameworks for AI solution deployment, management, and sustainable implementation across teams.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with adjudication, governance, and risk oversight stakeholders to understand workflows and priorities.
  • Network enterprise-wide to identify best practices, lessons learned, and reusable AI capabilities for knowledge transfer.
  • Conduct process assessments and recommend AI technologies that deliver maximum business impact and process improvement.
  • Lead change management and champion adoption of AI-enabled processes with leadership and key stakeholders.
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
  • 5+ years leading data/AI initiatives in financial risk management with deep knowledge of banking products, policies, and procedures.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership with strong relationship management and collaboration skills across teams, hierarchies, and enterprise boundaries.
  • Strategic thinker able to synthesize information from multiple sources, identify complex system interdependencies, and influence stakeholders.
  • Hands-on AI builder with experience designing and implementing AI-based solutions and strong quantitative analysis capabilities.
  • Fast-paced executor who drives decisions quickly, operates with minimal direction, and communicates results effectively to senior leadership.
Nice-to-have
  • Credit risk analytics and/ or credit adjudication experience.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems integration, data infrastructure, and governance frameworks.
  • Track record of implementing organizational change and driving adoption of new processes/technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead indirectly, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across departments.
