ITA is seeking a Director, Technology Operations to join the team supporting our Headquarters location in Newport News, Virginia in the fall.

Responsibilities

The Director, Technology Operationswill be responsible and accountable for ITAInternational's information technology systems, software/hardware requirements, policies and procedures, ITbudget, andcontinual assessmentand securityof IT infrastructure and technology needs to support ITA's success. This role provides leadership across IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, business applications,end-user support, and technology governance while ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements and industry best practices.

The Director, Technology Operationsserves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, aligning technology investments with businessobjectives, supporting corporate growth initiatives, and enabling secure, scalable, and efficient operations across CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating, managing, and securing enterprise-wideutilizationof ITAโ€™s Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud environments within the Government Community Cloud tenant.
  • Recommending enhancements to improve functionality and maximize organizational value.
  • Providing active, hands-on leadership and technical mentorship to the IT team. Fostering a collaborative work environment while overseeing and supporting daily IT operations.
  • Planning, evaluating, organizing, controlling, and securing IT and electronic data operations.
  • Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems, including cybersecurity operations.
  • ManagingITAโ€™sCMMC compliance by promoting a security-first culture that safeguards sensitive data andmaintainsindustry standardsand governmentrequirements.
  • Directing the design, development, implementation, and coordination of organizational systems, policies, and procedures.
  • LeveragingArtificial Intelligence to enhanceoperations within the organization.
  • Identifyingproblematic areas within IT operations and implementing strategic solutions promptly to minimize downtime and organizational risk.
  • Ensures employee readiness through annual training compliance and continuous education on cybersecurity, technology, and evolving business and regulatory requirements
  • Assistingwith development of the annual budget and ensuring the cost-effectiveness of IT assets.
  • Conduct regular audits of organizational systems and thoroughly assess the outcomes toidentifyareas wheresecuritycan be enhanced.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on audit findings to drive continuous improvement and ensure systemsremainefficient and secure.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including leadership and IT management responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage multiplecompetingpriorities with proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industryโ€™s best practice processes.
  • Preferred candidate has Microsoft Certifications (e.g.Administrator, Security Engineer, or AI Engineer)
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands on experience withinstalling, administering, and securing a broad range of enterprise systems, including email, networks, document management, endpoints, and servers.
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements and implementation timelines
  • Ability to manage personnel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them whenappropriate.

Pay range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 annually.

This position has a broad compensation range due to varying levels of candidate experience and qualifications.
