Job description

The Applications Engineer - Identity is a critical role that supports our Identity Management across the entire company. This role may also be backup for other corporate applications but the primary duties is to support identity and operations, process requests for access, resolve issues with the IAM system, support outages and team rotation for outage management (on-call) and ensure progressive improvement and efficiencies are identified and implemented.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and monitors support queues and service level agreements. Supports other parts of IT in application related requests (e.g., tickets that are assigned).
  • Investigates, triages, and troubleshoots escalated issues and system outages. Performs root cause analysis and exercises appropriate problem management strategies.
  • Facilitates change management processes, including the development and execution of test scripts, communication plans, implementation plans, and rollback plans.
  • Assists in training other operational teams and creating documented procedures to use in the incident process. Troubleshoots and responds to incidents that have been escalated in the support queue. Updates and creates process documentation, procedures, and policies. Keeps documentation up to date and within IT standards.
  • Correct existing processes in place to support sustainable and flexible architecture and environments.
  • Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (I2P2).
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by direct supervisor/management.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience Business, Systems and/or Application Analysis.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience within Systems or Application Support.
  • Experience in supporting Public Cloud and SAAS technologies.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Advanced and resourceful troubleshooting and solutioning.
  • Excellent planning, analysis and organizing skills.

Compensation
The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $91,597.00 to $114,496.00. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.
Additional Compensation
This position is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus.
