Job Summary

The People Services Director serves as the senior HR leader for the hospital, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive workforce strategy, employee engagement, and organizational performance. This role oversees all HR functions, including labor relations, recruitment, compliance, and employee development, while fostering a positive, people-first culture.

Responsibilities

•Serve as strategic HR advisor to executive leadership

•Lead employee relations, engagement, and retention initiatives

•Oversee labor relations, union partnerships, and negotiations

•Guide leaders on performance management and employee issues

•Direct recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning

•Ensure HR compliance, reporting, and policy administration

•Analyze workforce data to improve operations and retention

•Supervise and develop HR team members

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field

•Minimum 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience

•Experience across employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, and compliance
