As Associate Director, Oncology Outcomes Research, you will lead high‑impact health outcomes and real‑world evidence that define the value of our medicines and accelerate access for patients. You will operate at the center of an asset team, partnering across medical, development, market access and data science to shape strategy and deliver evidence that influences clinical practice and payer decisions.

Accountabilities
  • Real‑World Evidence Leadership: Lead the design and execution of real‑world studies and HEOR projects that quantify and communicate asset value across global and U.S. markets.
  • Asset Strategy Co‑ownership: Support strategy development and lead execution of the asset’s Global and U.S. Regional health outcomes plan, aligned to clinical, payer and market needs.
  • Scientific Communication and Influence: Present findings at scientific congresses; lead development of peer‑reviewed manuscripts; shape internal and external narratives with clear, evidence‑based insights.
  • Governance and Scientific Rigor: Partner with the asset lead in review and governance forums to ensure scientific quality and compliance for sponsored research.
  • Field Impact Enablement: Translate research outputs into practical tools and resources that equip field medical and access teams to communicate value effectively.
  • Vendor and Budget Management: Select and manage external partners and budgets to deliver high‑quality projects on time and within scope.
  • Competitive and Market Insight: Maintain deep knowledge of the disease area, competitive landscape, health system dynamics and evolving reimbursement requirements to proactively guide evidence priorities.
Essential Skills/Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, graduate degree strongly preferred (PhD, MS, MPH) in health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research and/or related rigor.
  • Understanding and knowledge and application of epidemiological/health outcomes methodology within pharmaceutical industry at an international level.
  • In‑depth expertise with research methods for real world research, HEOR projects including pharmacoepidemiologic models.
  • Knowledge of the Global and U.S. healthcare systems and their changing needs for health economic and payer analytic information.
  • Scientific expertise in oncology with knowledge of different data sources.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analytical, judgment and problem‑solving skills.
  • Travel10‑15%
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Advanced Scientific degree.
  • Developed conceptual and integrative thinking with capability to access internal and external resources for advice.
  • Standout teammate and supports the asset team within the O2R organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Oncology experience preferred.
