The role reports to the VP of Product Marketing and is responsible for owning the product’s narrative, positioning, and market presence.
Key Responsibilities- Own and operationalize the marketing strategy for First Alert, driving growth, adoption, and positioning.
- Develop high‑impact sales‑ and customer‑facing content, win stories, and competitive analyses.
- Partner with Product Management to identify needs, influence the product roadmap, and support product launches.
- Provide messaging support for sales and enablement initiatives.
- Represent Dataminr as a domain expert in industry forums, analyst briefings, and client engagements.
- 12+ years in product marketing, strategy, or related roles.
- Prior defense sector experience – practitioner experience within government, military, or intelligence agencies.
- Experience in GovTech, public safety, or mission‑critical SaaS.
- Experience with AI‑driven products in the defense sector is a strong plus.
