Job Summary
The Golf Course Host greets customers as they arrive at the golf course. Ensure the quality of service to all players and guests by pulling and cleaning carts as well as loading and unloading bags between cars and the bag drop as needed. High school diploma or the equivalency is necessary unless currently attending school. Golf course and customer service experience preferred. The Golf Course Host position requires that an employee stand for long periods of time outside with physical requirements such as stooping, bending, and lifting an average weight of 30 pounds.

Core Responsibilities
  • Greet owners/guests to the golf course as they arrive for their tee-times by unloading and staging their equipment for play
  • Maintain a timely flow of play to the first tee throughout the day
  • Ensure all owners/guests are aware of all golf course policies and rules of play for the day
  • Inspect returned carts by checking for damage and report any damage to the golf shop immediately, remove all garbage and debris, clean cart thoroughly, and return golf cart to cart barn in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Inspect returned club rentals by counting clubs immediately and radio the golf shop, clean clubs thoroughly, arrange clubs in bag in an orderly fashion, and place club rentals in proper storage area
  • Maintain knowledge of cart and club rental inventories at the appropriate golf course
  • Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of bag drop, staging areas, cart barn, and practice facilities
  • Inform Golf Shop Supervisor of any problems or complaints from customers as soon as possible
  • Other duties as assigned by management
