Position Summary:

The Quality Control Director is responsible for establishing, optimizing, and overseeing the end-to-end quality assurance framework across all warehouse locations nationwide. This role leads quality strategy, operational audits, cross-site process standardization, and warehouse project implementation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the entire network.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the nationwide warehouse quality control strategy, policies, and operational standards.
  • Define and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs), KPIs, and audit mechanisms for all warehouse functions, including receiving, putaway, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and value-added services.
  • Analyze warehouse data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct routine and random quality audits across all warehouse locations to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Review and approve quality reports, deviation records, root-cause analyses, and corrective/preventative action plans (CAPA).
  • Lead initiatives to improve order accuracy, inventory accuracy, packaging quality, and process compliance.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, HR/Training, Customer Service, and IT teams to ensure consistent implementation of quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication between site managers, regional leadership, and executive-level stakeholders regarding quality metrics and priorities.
  • Support client-facing teams by aligning warehouse quality processes with evolving customer requirements.
  • Lead major warehouse quality improvement projects, multi-site rollouts, and technology/tool implementations such as WMS enhancements and QC automation tools.
  • Ensure new processes, tools, and standards are deployed successfully across all locations and properly documented.
  • Deliver regular quality and operational performance reports to executive leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, industry standards, and customer-specific SLAs.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of quality management experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution.
  • Strong background in multi-site quality leadership.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Chinese is high preferred
  • Deep understanding of warehouse processes and quality methodologies (such as RCA, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and training capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel nationwideas needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (WMS).
