Job description

Aviation Performance Solutions (www.apstraining.com) is currently seeking a Full-time Flight Operations Service Specialist (FOSS) to start immediately in an exciting, action-packed aviation company that is growing rapidly. No aviation skills needed.
Qualifications:
  • No aviation skills needed; company will provide training.
  • Safety conscious individual with a strong character of integrity.
  • Must be physically fit and willing to work both inside and outside during all seasons.
  • Self-starter who works independently.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and divide time between tasks and different activities.
  • Must have sound judgment and high situational awareness.
  • Outgoing personality with emphasis on positive attitude, teamwork, customer satisfaction and company growth.
  • Ability to work with people of different personalities and cultures.
  • Minimal administrative and phone skills are required.

Must be prepared to work 5 days a week Monday - Friday. Hours range from 5:15am - 3:45pm (depending on season). Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a drug screen in accordance with FAA guidelines.
Description:
- Prep small planes (fuel, oil, cockpits, cleaning inside and outside, detailing)
- Assist Pilots/Mechanic with operations (any pre-flight needs)
- Assist customers in putting on parachutes and strapping in aircraft cockpits
- Work with other team members to ensure safe operational flow
- Organize time and priorities to accommodate scheduling and customer needs
- Receive, Direct and Host customers (ensure customer check-in, visit with customers and families, explain flight maneuvers)
- Prep customers (assign flight suits, helmet-fitting, call signs, take photos/video)
- Ensure customer safety on airport ramp and aircraft
- Run company errands
- Perform additional duties assigned by management
- Prep facility for incoming customers (general cleanliness, trash removal, supplies, etc)
Physical requirements:
- 190 lbs. max weight
- Ability to assist in pushing out small aircraft
- Ability to push 55-gallon oil drum on wheels
- Ability to uphold company grooming standards
