JOB SUMMARY:
The Director, Financial Operations provides financial leadership, operational analytics, and business management support across Perioperative Services and other departments as assigned. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to optimize financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities include oversight of budgeting, forecasting, productivity management, revenue optimization, capital planning, financial reporting, and performance analytics. The Director develops and maintains reporting tools and key performance indicators, monitors charge capture, billing, inventory, and budget performance, and provides actionable insights related to surgical volume, utilization, and operational trends. The role also supports capital purchases, supply chain initiatives, cost-containment strategies, and quality improvement efforts to ensure efficient, effective, and financially sustainable perioperative operations.
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years relevant healthcare finance or operations experience.

Preferred:
  • Master's degree in business or healthcare administration.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive healthcare finance experience
  • Relevant clinical background in an acute care hospital or healthcare setting.
