Job Summary

The Director IT Workstream Finance SAP S/4 is accountable for end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4 Finance capabilities, including design validation, configuration oversight, integration, testing, data readiness, and stabilization. This role ensures finance systems enable compliant, accurate, and timely financial operations while aligning to enterprise data, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

Purpose of the Role:

Ensure that:

  • Finance systems are delivered in alignment with business, regulatory, and reporting requirements
  • Enterprise finance data structures, code block, and reporting logic are consistently implemented
  • Financial close, consolidation, and regulatory reporting processes are stable and auditable at go-live
  • Integration across finance, asset, supply chain, and external reporting is complete and reconciled
Key Responsibilities:

Solution Delivery and Governance

  • Own end-to-end finance system delivery across SAP FI/CO and related components
  • Enforce alignment to fit-to-standard principles and approved design decisions
  • Oversee design realization, configuration, and RICEFW development

Integration and Cross-Workstream Alignment

  • Drive integration across finance, asset accounting, procurement, and work management
  • Partner with Data and Architecture leads to align finance data model and reporting structures
  • Resolve cross-workstream design and data conflicts

Testing and Financial Readiness

  • Lead testing of financial close, reporting, and audit scenarios
  • Ensure readiness for period-end close, regulatory reporting, and reconciliations
  • Validate financial integrity of migrated and transactional data

Cut-over and Stabilization

  • Define finance cutover sequencing and data readiness checkpoints
  • Lead issue triage for high-risk financial defects
  • Ensure controlled stabilization and transition to steady-state finance operations
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Advanced degree or CPA preferred
