About the Job

Join our dynamic Finance & Accounting team as an Accounting Specialist. This role is crucial for our year-end peak season and focuses on Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations. You’ll also support vendor invoice processes, monthly volume reporting, and revenue data analysis. We are seeking detail-oriented, tech-savvy candidates who excel in leveraging technology and AI to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring aging and resolving discrepancies
  • Process deposits and apply payments to customer accounts
  • Reconcile monthly deposit transactions recorded 
  • Perform revenue reconciliations for completeness and accuracy
  • Support monthly accounting close (account reconciliations and reporting)
  • Assist with financial data analysis and reporting (data extraction & transformation)
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, including automation/AI solutions
  • Collaborate with teams (Sales, Customer Service) to resolve billing/payment issues
  • Manage vendor invoices, apply tax withholding, and code per budget/chart of accounts
  • Create new vendors for business units as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting functions
  • Strong accounting principles and reconciliation skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
  • Ability to use AI tools for productivity and data analysis
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in financial data analysis/business intelligence
  • Familiarity with automation tools and process improvement
