Production Operator III - Extrusion Line Operator
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7AM - 7PM; 12-hour shifts
Pay: $23 - $28 per hour

SUMMARY:
The Production Operator III - Extrusion Line Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a plastic extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to production procedures and diagrams.
  • Adjust and clean machines as necessary, documenting work performed.
  • Collaborate closely with senior personnel to ensure efficient operation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain a moderate understanding of general aspects of the extrusion process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with machines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have experience with profile extrusion.
  • Minimum of 2 years of general work experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the following is preferred:
    • Extruders
    • Water tanks
    • Pullers
    • Cutters
    • Die tooling and sizers
    • Various types of plastic resins

SKILLS:

  • Strong mechanical and operational skills.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Physical strength and stamina are essential.
  • Proficient computer skills and good dexterity.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation.
  • Initiative in facilitating the goals of the company.
