POSITION: Director of Sales and Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Living Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive occupancy and revenue growth for our senior living community. This role involves leading a sales team, cultivating relationships with potential residents and their families, overseeing marketing initiatives, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the overall success of the community.
Commission Opportunity of $5.000 per month plus an opportunity for quarterly NOI and MI Revenue bonuses!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy goals and maximize revenue.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and community partners through networking, outreach, and personalized communication.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and other initiatives to drive sales and enhance the community's reputation.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, website content, and social media campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Coordinate events, seminars, and other outreach activities to raise awareness of the community and attract potential residents.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition for new residents and maintain high levels of resident satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing senior living communities, including fair housing laws and marketing regulations.
  • Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, annual training through designated Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as marketing or business administration.
  • Five years' experience in sales, in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the senior living industry or real estate, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, focus on Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Understanding of legal and ethical requirements regarding sales contracts and agreements.
  • Knowledge of the senior living industry, including familiarity with various types of senior housing options.
  • Experience in creating and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Must have strong understanding of the English language, sufficient to read and write.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Walk/Stand - must be able to continuously walk and stand.
  • Environment Condition - must be able to perform work both inside and outside.
  • Sit - sit infrequently.
  • Lift - constantly 0-10 pounds, frequently 11 - 50 pounds, occasionally 51 - 100 pounds.
