Job description

Join the dynamic team at Idaho Tents and Events, a leading provider of event services ranging from large weddings to intimate dinner parties. We pride ourselves on our dedicated team that helps create memorable experiences for our clients. We are currently seeking self-motivated, reliable, and friendly individuals for our Delivery Driver / Event Setup role. This position offers a unique blend of physical and mental challenges, with the opportunity to work on diverse tasks and events each day.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute daily routing assignments and site schematics
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Operate safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
  • Perform tent installation and construction processes
  • Move and set-up various event equipment such as tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, and staging
  • Assist with loading and unloading commercial box trucks.
Qualifications
  • Must be 16 years or older
  • Must be able to move 1 stack (50) Garden Chairs [357lbs]using a dolly 
  • Climb a 6ft ladder while carrying 25lb weight
  • Balance and relocate 4, 12ft (Red) Pipes [36lbs]
  • Dead lift pick-up 1,  20 x 20 Festival Top [85lbs]
  • Move a 350lb or 700lb Concrete Ballast using the Block Moving Dolly
  • Previous experience with tent installations preferred but not required
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and be flexible
  • Reliable with a positive and friendly attitude
Compensation

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $15-$20 per hour depending on experience, plus bonuses.
