Job description

We are seeking a Director in our Entertainment Marketing & Advisory team to lead the development of commercial narratives, client-facing materials and strategic business development initiatives that drive growth across the department. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, culture, BD and creative, this role will collaborate with agents, EM&A specialists, creative teams and business stakeholders to transform client opportunities into compelling, commercially driven solutions that position the department for growth and enable the team to win new business.

The Role and What You'll Do:

  • Lead the strategic development of pitches, proposals and client presentations from initial brief through final delivery, translating client objectives into compelling, commercially viable solutions across WME's Entertainment ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with agents, business development, creative services, specialists and executive leadership to shape strategic recommendations, business objectives, positioning and client narratives

  • Bring a deep understanding of culture, entertainment, talent, media and brand marketing, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen client recommendations and business development efforts.

  • Lead enterprise positioning across the department including strategic narrative, overall presentation approach, flow and executive messaging.

  • Serve as a strategic partner in client meetings, pitch presentations and business development discussions, helping shape opportunities, strengthen relationships and drive commercial outcomes.

  • Partner with Creative Services, ensuring excellence in design execution, quality control and final deliverables.

  • Design and continuously improve scalable workflows, intake processes, templates and operating procedures that increase efficiency, consistency and visibility across the department's business development efforts.

  • Maintain and evolve a centralized repository of pitches, proposals, case studies, strategic frameworks, historical work and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to repurpose insights and strengthen future pursuits.

  • Strategic thought-leader in building enterprise opportunities, applying cross category insights that improve recommendations and output across pursuits

  • Operate with a high level of professionalism, discretion, emotional intelligence, and executive presence within fast-paced and highly collaborative environments

You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Requires 6+ years of experience in entertainment marketing, brand strategy, business development or related fields

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

  • Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how ideas translate into revenue

  • Strong understanding of the entertainment, media and cultural landscape, with demonstrated cultural fluency and curiosity around emerging trends, creators, talent, IP and brand partnerships.

  • Experience managing complex business development workflows across multiple stakeholders, timelines and competing priorities.

  • Exceptional written communication, storytelling and strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated experience translating complex business challenges into compelling commercial narratives, executive presentations, proposals and client-facing materials.

  • Experience partnering with creative and design teams to bring best-in-class presentations and client-facing materials to life

  • Experience building scalable systems, processes, templates and operating models that improve business development effectiveness across cross-functional teams.

  • Confident executive presence with experience presenting strategic recommendations in client-facing environments and building credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and quality across all workstreams and materials

  • Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to synthesize information and adapt quickly to evolving business needs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; in particular Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Keynote

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$112,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$150,000 annually
