Anytime Fitness is currently seeking qualified and certified personal trainers who can deliver a fantastic workout experience to our clients. As an AF Personal Trainer, you will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercises for a wide variety of participants. The desired candidate must have a passion for helping people become the best versions of themselves by helping people make incremental lifestyle changes to obtain sustainable and long-term results. They will truly be a team player willing to do what is necessary to help our members be successful.
Things you will do as a Personal Trainer:
  • Strategy Sessions (Fitness Consultations)
  • 1:1 training
  • Small Group Training (Will need to be instrumental in developing this.)
  • Virtual Training (Not presently offered but is on the list.)
  • You will need to learn the sales office and be willing to cover as needed when not training.
  • Things that make our club clean, functional, inviting and motivational.
  • You will be a big part of creating exceptional club culture

Responsibilities
  • Develop, prescribe and deliver great workouts for clients and potential clients.
  • Utilize the Anytime Fitness Franchise and local club systems.
  • Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
  • Handle member concerns where possible
  • Sales and Marketing for Programming
  • Proactive outreach to active and inactive members. You must be ok with making phone calls, texting and emails.
  • Assist in retention efforts.
  • Provide exceptional member service.
  • Always attentive to the club and members.
  • All club team members are willing to help out in any area of the club, whether it is cleaning, light maintenance, community events, calling members, putting up decorations or picking up trash!
  • Attend and support club functions whether it be member or employee.

Qualifications
  • Have a strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
  • Must acquire a fitness certification/personal trainer certification within 90 days of hire from an AF fitness-approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, NSCA, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
  • Manage time and schedules
  • You must be trustworthy and have a good work ethic!
  • You must be the kind of person who is super positive and puts smiles on other peoples' faces.

Other things to know
  • The job location will be either at Anytime Fitness Hebron or Anytime Fitness DeMotte. At times, you may be needed to work at both locations.
  • All of our team members wear more than one hat. If you are unwilling to help in other tasks, you probably aren't a good fit. We help each other out. Although we have housekeeping, we all have cleaned a bathroom a time or two. We all have hung decorations. We all have thrown salt on ice. We are looking for a team player.
  • Trainers get an hourly rate plus a bonus for sessions rendered as well as a commission for writing agreements. The hourly rate listed only is an estimate of what will occur. No trainer has fallen below the minimum and to be honest, there is potential for a greater than the listed maximum.
  • Although the job is listed as part time, the trainer can work up to 40 hours a week as they build clientele.

Compensation: $13.00 - $26.00 per hour
