Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Instructs and demonstrates skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement.
  • Develops appropriate training programs and practice schedules.
  • Ensures that proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of all athletic equipment and uniforms and updated inventories are adhered to.
  • Maintains necessary records and completes required paperwork in a specified time and manner
  • Ensures that proper form(s) (medical) obtained and current
  • Supervises students in locker rooms at home and away games and ensures appropriate behavior.
  • Finalization of roster reports to the Athletic Department.
  • Submitting completed injury reports to the Head Athletic Trainer.
  • Reporting ALL ejections and disqualifications to the Athletic Director.
  • Reporting ALL game results to the Athletic Office and the Ravenscroft Website.
  • Supervision of student athletes before, during and after practices and games.
  • Reporting problems and situations initially to the head coach and/or Athletic Director.
  • Enforcement of all School policies while at home or on the road.
  • Enforcement of the North Carolina Seat Belt Law.
  • Compliance with North Carolina speed limits and all other driving laws at all times.

Qualifications:
Must have excellent communication and computer skills, tact in dealing with students and parents. Must have experience working with adolescents and demonstrate the fore sight to assist, lead and direct the same. Ability to take direction; strong work ethic. Willingness to accept additional job duties; flexibility in work schedule, as needed. Must have or be able to obtain CDL with school bus endorsement. Preferred but not required. Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position.
