Position Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales, the Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for building and leading the Sales Enablement function for OHS's inbound sales organization, owning strategy, design, and execution of onboarding, coaching programs, sales methodology, and performance improvement initiatives. This is a commercially minded, outcomes-driven role - not a traditional training function - where success is measured by business results: faster new-hire ramp, higher conversion rates, stronger product attachment, and improved QA scores. The role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Quality, Operations, Product Marketing, and Vendor Partners to identify performance gaps, standardize best practices, and build programs that make great selling repeatable and scalable across the organization. The Sales Enablement Manager is also the primary bridge between internal and vendor-facing sales teams, ensuring consistent methodology, certification standards, and enablement materials across all channels. This position directly supports OHS's revenue objectives by equipping every seller with the tools, skills, and knowledge to perform at their best from day one.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in home warranty, home services, insurance, telecom, or high-volume inbound contact center sales. This is a greenfield build role with no direct reports at inception.
This hybrid role is based in our Naperville, IL office. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Own and continuously evolve OHS's consultative sales methodology across all inbound sales channels, ensuring a consistent, repeatable approach from first contact through close.
• Design and own a structured new-hire onboarding program that accelerates ramp time, certifies competency, and drives early-tenure conversion performance.
• Build and operationalize a structured coaching framework that equips frontline sales supervisors to coach consistently and specifically using skill-based feedback.
• Own enablement measurement: build and maintain scorecards tracking conversion rates, revenue per sale, product attachment, new-hire ramp time, QA scores, and playbook adoption.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales playbook and enablement library (pitch decks, objection-handling guides, battle cards, onboarding materials, call guides).
• Translate QA findings, call review patterns, and customer feedback into actionable enablement initiatives; close the loop between quality and sales performance.
• Lead enablement planning and execution for product launches, promotions, regulatory changes, and strategic initiatives requiring sales team readiness.
• Partner with Vendor Management and Sales Manager, Vendor Partnerships to develop vendor-facing training, onboarding, and sales certification programs aligned to OHS standards.
• Present enablement impact reports to Sales Leadership on a regular cadence, connecting program activity to measurable business outcomes.
• Leverage Salesforce, Looker, and conversation intelligence tools to surface performance trends and identify coaching opportunities at scale.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role

• 3+ years of experience in sales, sales enablement, sales training, or frontline sales leadership with demonstrated progression in scope and impact.
• Prior quota-carrying sales experience required.
• Proven track record of building enablement programs (onboarding curricula, playbooks, coaching frameworks, certification programs) that produced measurable improvements in sales performance.
• Strong analytical skills: ability to build and interpret sales performance dashboards and connect enablement activity to business outcomes.
• Experience facilitating training and coaching sessions for frontline reps and managers, including call calibrations and live coaching.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and hold the attention of frontline sales reps and managers in both live and virtual settings.
• Strong cross-functional influence and relationship-building skills, able to align priorities and build trust with Sales leadership, Marketing, Product etc. stakeholders without direct authority over those teams.
• High emotional intelligence and a coaching mindset, able to deliver direct, actionable feedback to reps and managers in a way that builds confidence and drives lasting behavior change.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• None required; sales methodology certifications (e.g., SPIN, Challenger) a plus

We offer a compelling total rewards package that includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits to support your total wellbeing. The base pay range for this position is $104,040 - $139,500 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
