Assembly Technician

About Us:

We Specialize in Fuel, Oil and Water Connection Systems, Tubing and Electrical harnesses for all forms of industries. BMRS, LLC has over 40 years of experience in the motorsports and aerospace industries. Our lightweight range of hose satisfies virtually every racing application, and our fittings are designed for safety, reliability, and optimum weight saving. We’re located in Concord, NC.


Job Description:

The Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly, test, and pack manufactured products used in professional racing including road, oval, drag, aircraft, desert, and marine.


Duties:

  • Assembles hose, tubing and/or electrical wiring harnesses, and more according to directions.
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
  • Tests high performance parts and hoses for use in many fluid and air distribution applications across all forms of motorsports and aerospace.
  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Ensures quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alert supervisor.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Works well as a productive member of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
  • Mechanically inclined.

Education and Experience:

  • Prefer candidates with automotive training and an interest in motorsports.
  • High School diploma or equivalency is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity, to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.

Hours/Pay/Benefits:

  • Schedule: On-site, Monday – Friday; 8 am to 5 pm
