Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, training, disciplinary action, and performance evaluation.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to warehouse staff and ensure they are completed efficiently.
- Promote a positive working atmosphere and resolve any conflicts that may arise within the team.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement and maintain a first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory system where applicable.
- Oversee the receiving process, ensuring that shipments are accurately checked, documented, and properly stored.
- Inspect incoming goods for quality and report any discrepancies or damages to appropriate personnel.
- Manage the efficient picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Ensure orders are accurately assembled, labeled, and dispatched in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the transportation department for outbound shipments.
- Ensuring production paperwork is accurate and product meets quality standards.
- Using lean principles to increase production standards.
- Daily planning and coordinating of production schedule.
- Working with other departments on projects and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse layout to optimize space utilization.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage the proper storage of goods to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, returns, and damaged goods.
- Assist in the development of warehouse-related policies and procedures.
- Utilize warehouse management software and technology to optimize processes.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ Years of Experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
- 3+ Years of Experience in a Warehouse or distribution center role
Education Requirements:
- Highschool Graduate or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
