Summary:

 

The Director of Business Intelligence, Enterprise Architecture & Integrations establishes and governs the organization's enterprise data strategy, business intelligence platforms, enterprise architecture roadmap, and application integration ecosystem. This role leads the development of scalable data, analytics, and integration capabilities that enable strategic decision-making, operational excellence, digital transformation, and business growth across the Americas Cementitious Materials organization. The role serves as a key member of the IT leadership team; the Director partners with business leaders, IT peers, operational stakeholders, and external service providers to ensure technology solutions align with enterprise objectives while promoting standardization, security, interoperability, and data governance.

 

What you’ll be contributing: 

  • Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines. 
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise data strategy, aligning data, analytics, and integration investments with business objectives.
  • Establish and govern enterprise data models, data architecture standards, and master data management practices.
  • Lead development of business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and SQL technologies.
  • Drive the evolution from operational reporting to predictive, data-driven decision-making capabilities; define enterprise KPI frameworks and executive dashboards.
  • Promote data literacy and self-service analytics throughout the organization.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise architecture standards, principles, and governance processes; develop technology roadmaps supporting ERP, CRM, operational technology, manufacturing systems, customer platforms, and corporate systems.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics; ensure solutions align with cybersecurity, compliance, scalability, and operational requirements.
  • Lead architecture reviews for major projects and acquisitions.
  • Own the enterprise integration landscape across SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion, manufacturing and OT systems, customer-facing platforms, and third-party SaaS solutions.
  • Define integration standards, middleware strategy, APIs, event-based architectures, and data exchange mechanisms; lead implementation of enterprise integration platforms and frameworks.
  • Ensure data consistency, reliability, and availability across all systems; support M&A integration and divestiture activities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to establish enterprise data governance practices, including data ownership, stewardship, quality, retention, and metadata management; establish governance councils and stewardship programs where appropriate.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of architects, BI professionals, and integration specialists; define professional development paths, technical standards, and best practices.
  • Manage staffing plans, budgets, vendor relationships, and consulting engagements for the BI, architecture, and integration functions.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on data, analytics, architecture, and integration initiatives; identify opportunities to leverage AI, process automation, advanced analytics, digital twins, and manufacturing intelligence.
  • Manage relationships with Microsoft, system integrators, ERP providers, and data/analytics vendors; evaluate vendor solutions and govern consulting engagements to ensure achievement of project objectives.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor 

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc. 
  • Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Graduate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in enterprise architecture, data, BI, or integration services
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading enterprise architecture, data, BI, or integration services
  • Up to 25% domestic travel

Compensation:

 

  • Compensation: $151,400.00 - $185,100.00 USD
  • Eligible for yearly bonus
