Position Summary:
The Springs Living is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join its People Team . The Director of Talent Acquisition is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for designing and executing a scalable, enterprise-wide talent strategy across all levels of the organization. This includes attracting and hiring top-tier talent for Market Presidents, Executive Directors, community-based roles, and Home Office functions. This role is critical to ensure the organization has the leadership and workforce needed to support both day-to-day operations and long-term growth, including expansion into new and existing markets. The Director will balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, personally engaging in critical searches while building strong pipelines, elevating the candidate's experience, and leading a high-performing team to deliver consistent, high-quality hiring outcomes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
  • Develop and execute an enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational growth, workforce planning, and market expansion goals
  • Partner with executive leadership to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines for leadership, operational, and frontline roles
  • Align talent acquisition strategies with community operations, Home Office functions, and new market initiatives
  • Utilize labor market insights, compensation trends, and workforce data to inform recruiting and long-term workforce planning strategies

Executive Recruiting & Talent Attraction
  • Lead executive search efforts for key leadership positions, including Market Presidents and Executive Directors
  • Design innovative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates through networking, industry partnerships, referrals, and digital recruiting platforms
  • Develop and maintain talent maps and strategic candidate pipelines for critical leadership and operational roles
  • Cultivate strong industry relationships and referral networks to support ongoing talent acquisition needs

Employer Branding & Diversity Initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing to strengthen employer branding and talent marketing initiatives
  • Develop campaigns that highlight organizational culture, mission, and career growth opportunities
  • Implement DEI-focused sourcing strategies and partnerships to support diverse candidate pipelines and inclusive hiring practices
  • Oversee internship, university, and early career recruiting programs to build future talent pipelines

Market Expansion & Team Deployment
  • Lead talent acquisition strategies for new market launches, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives
  • Partner with Market Presidents and Operations leaders to build leadership and operational teams for new communities
  • Develop scalable hiring playbooks to support market readiness, staffing timelines, and operational performance goals
  • Ensure smooth transitions from recruitment through onboarding to accelerate team integration and effectiveness

Recruitment Operations & Technology
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment across executive, community, and Home Office functions
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality hiring practices and an exceptional candidate experience across all markets
  • Leverage ATS, CRM platforms, recruiting analytics, and emerging technologies to improve pipeline health, conversion rates, and hiring outcomes
  • Establish and monitor recruiting KPIs, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity metrics, and pipeline effectiveness
  • Streamline recruiting processes to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and consistency

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Establish clear performance expectations, recruiting metrics, and professional development plans for team members
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, Market Presidents, HR, Operations, and Finance leaders
  • Provide data-driven insights on labor market trends, hiring strategies, workforce planning, and organizational growth initiatives

Qualifications:
Required Experience
  • 7-10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success recruiting across multiple levels, including executive leadership (Market Presidents, Executive Directors) and high-volume community roles
  • Demonstrated experience building teams in new or expanding markets, including full team deployment
  • Experience leading and developing small, high-performing recruiting teams

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or multi-site operations
  • Experience supporting rapid organizational growth or market expansion
  • Background in employer branding or talent marketing
