Job description

FTE: 1.000000
Summary:
Responsible for the overall administration of Broward Health's Capital Projects Program. Coordinated and implements all "in house" project design work as well as external design and construction resources. Manages the planning and programming for all capital projects for both AHCA and non-AHCA type projects.
Education:
Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:
  • Seven years of related experience.
  • Acute hospital/healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Licensure/Credentials:
  • State of Florida CGC, PE, or RA preferred.

Special Training:
  • Experience reading and understanding blueprints required.
  • Experience reviewing and understanding contract language required.
  • Experience reviewing and understanding shop drawings and submittals required.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Computer and Technical literacy.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and interests.
  • Ability to manage staff interaction, consultants, and vendors.
