Job Summary
The Senior Director, Data & Analytics is a strategic enterprise leader responsible for shaping KEEN's data, analytics, SAP S/4HANA transformation, and AI-enabled operating model. This role is accountable for building the data foundation that enables trusted insight, intelligent decision-making, and scalable automation across the business.
This position goes beyond traditional analytics leadership. It connects business strategy, enterprise systems, and data architecture to create measurable advantage across merchandising, DTC, wholesale, supply chain, finance, and global operations. The Senior Director will partner closely with business and technology leaders to translate KEEN's transformation priorities into scalable data capabilities, modern analytics, AI readiness, and actionable decision support.
Success in this role requires deep SAP S/4HANA and data leadership experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to build the data foundation needed for an AI-enabled enterprise.
Essential Functions
Description
  • Lead data and analytics readiness for the SAP S/4HANA program, ensuring master data, KPI definitions, reporting needs, and enterprise data structures support future-state business processes.
  • Define and communicate a compelling enterprise data & AI vision that supports KEEN's commercial strategy, growth ambitions, and long-range planning.
  • Lead enterprise data architecture and platform direction, ensuring scalability, governance, reliability, and future AI enablement.
  • Develop and lead KEEN's AI data readiness strategy, enabling predictive insights, automation, personalization, and intelligent decision support.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact analytics and AI opportunities across merchandising, DTC, wholesale, supply chain, and finance to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish enterprise data governance standards, KPI harmonization, and decision rights to improve trust, consistency, and usability of information.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team of Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Technical Data Analysts; strengthen the broader analyst community through education and capability building.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and communicate progress through business impact metrics, adoption, and value delivered.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline required.
  • Master's Degree in Technology, Analytics, or Business Leadership focus preferred.
  • Minimum twelve (12) years of progressive experience in data, analytics, or digital transformation leadership.
  • Minimum of five (5) years leading enterprise-scale data or analytics teams.
  • Strong SAP S/4HANA background required, including experience supporting enterprise process transformation and data readiness required.
  • Strong retail, consumer goods, footwear, apparel, or omnichannel commerce experience required.
  • Demonstrated success applying data, analytics, and enterprise systems to improve revenue growth, margin, inventory optimization, demand forecasting, customer engagement, or operational efficiency required.
  • Experience leading AI readiness or advanced analytics initiatives preferred.
  • Experience operating in federated or hub-and-spoke environments preferred.

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strategic & Industry Expertise
  • Deep understanding of retail / consumer operating models (DTC, wholesale, merchandising, supply chain, planning, inventory lifecycle).
  • Ability to connect analytics, SAP S/4HANA Embedded analytics, and AI initiatives directly to business KPIs and financial outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand operating nuances and market dynamics.
  • Visionary mindset with the ability to articulate a practical enterprise transformation roadmap.

Technology & Architecture Leadership
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and how ERP design impacts data, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Expertise in enterprise data architecture, cloud data platforms, BI ecosystems, and integration frameworks.
  • Experience building governed semantic layers and standardized KPI frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML enablement, data quality frameworks, and responsible AI governance.
  • Ability to build the data foundation required for scalable AI use cases.

Leadership & Organizational Impact
  • Proven ability to influence executives and senior business leaders.
  • Strong change management and communication skills.
  • Experience building and scaling enterprise capability functions and cross-functional teams.

Travel Required: Yes, 5% of the time.
Base Salary: $217,600.00 - $229,615.00
The salary range posted for this position represents the anticipated hiring range for this role. Offers are made within this range based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations. This is the hiring range for the position; compensation above the posted maximum is not typically available at the time of offer.
Work Location: Hybrid
This role is based in the Portland, OR area and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Portland office and generally work on-site four days per week, with flexibility based on business and team needs.
