The Business Intelligence Developer independently owns defined analytics solutions that support leaders across clinical, operational, network, and enterprise functions. This role is responsible for transforming data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and self-service tools and bridges the gap between technical data infrastructure and business decision-making. We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited about the possibilities AI brings to data work - someone who actively experiments, learns, and finds creative ways to weave AI into everyday workflows to work smarter, faster, and more impactfully.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust BI solutions, including interactive dashboards, self-service reports, and data visualizations that enable users to make confident, data-driven decisions.
  • Build and optimize reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, SSRS, QlikView, and other BI platforms, ensuring they are intuitive, accurate, and actionable.
  • Define and develop semantic layers, KPI metrics, and manage business logic to ensure consistent interpretation of data across teams and tools Take full ownership of the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data models and BI solutions by proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Partner with BI analysts, data engineers, and other technical partners to clarify business logic, and transform business requirements into technical requirements, bridge the gap between business and data.
  • Maintain documentation of data models, transformation logic, metric definitions, report specifications, and data architecture.
  • Explore and integrate AI-powered features within BI platforms - such as natural language querying, automated insights, anomaly detection, and smart narratives - to make dashboards more intelligent and self-explanatory.
  • Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and proactively identify opportunities to apply new AI capabilities to improve analytical products and workflows.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Advanced BI tools skills such as Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, or SSRS, with a strong portfolio of delivered dashboards and reports. Comprehensive knowledge of Power BI data models, DAX, report design, and user experience principles
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing, query optimization, and data modeling for analytical use cases
  • Proactive self-learner with a demonstrated appetite for staying current on emerging technologies - especially in the AI and data domain
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required, with master's or other advanced degree a plus; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements where appropriate.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, business analytics, analytic engineering, or other analytical technical roles required.
  • Experience delivering dashboards or analyses in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools required

PAY RANGE:
$83,638 - $119,482 Salary
The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.
