Job description

TrendAI, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, empowers organizations with full AI visibility and consolidated security that inspires confidence, drives innovation, and eliminates risk.
At TrendAI, we're always seeking exceptional talent; people who want to collaborate with the best and push boundaries together. Here, your work goes beyond building a career. You will help protect what matters and play a vital role in shaping a safer, more trustworthy AI-powered future.
AI Fearlessly.

Role Summary

As Market Influence scales, TrendAI is building a dedicated data-and-analytics foundation for the function - the layer that measures performance across every channel, brings that measurement in-house, and makes it available on demand to the teams that need it. This role owns that foundation.

The Data & Analytics Lead defines and operates Market Influence's core metrics, owns the measurement tooling and the data warehouse behind them, and distributes MI intelligence across the org via TrendIQ. Initially, this role also leads AEO/GEO measurement - how TrendAI shows up in AI answer engines.

Responsibilities

Own the measurement layer

  • Define and operate the core MI metrics with rigorous, transparent, in-house methodology that leadership can trust and query any time

  • Build cross-pod performance reporting (PR, social, influencer, podcast, customer excellence) and connect it to campaigns and market themes

  • Stand up per-asset attribution so the function can show what converted

Own the tooling & warehouse

  • Administer the measurement stack, including onboarding, dashboards, and live MCP access

  • Build and maintain the MI Databricks data warehouse

  • Collaborate with the web team on AEO/GEO optimization

Distribute the data

  • Pipe MI intelligence back out through TrendIQ so other teams (e.g. sellers preparing for a meeting) get relevant, timely context

  • Partner with Marketing Ops on data-ownership boundaries - co-own or share where sensible; build what doesn't exist yet

  • Support the competitive-intelligence / digital-footprint feeds (job-board, repo, financial, analyst signals) with the CI team

Qualifications

Required

  • 6+ years in marketing analytics, marketing/revenue operations, or data analytics, including ownership of measurement for a marketing or comms function

  • Hands-on with marketing-measurement platforms (media monitoring / SOV / social analytics); comfortable owning tool administration and methodology

  • Working fluency with a modern data stack (e.g. Databricks or equivalent) and with connecting disparate sources into shared reporting

  • Strong communicator who turns data into a clear story for senior leaders

  • High AI fluency; comfortable with MCP/agentic tooling

Preferred

  • B2B tech / cybersecurity; understands the CISO/security audience and competitive set

  • Familiarity with AEO/GEO measurement and SEO/SEM fundamentals

  • Experience partnering with a Marketing Ops / BI function on data ownership

  • SQL / analytics-engineering fluency; dashboarding
