This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled cook looking to grow into a leadership role while working in a professional, high-quality kitchen environment. The position offers competitive hourly pay starting at $25hr–$30hr+ open based on experience, along with a sign-on bonus. Working in a high-volume environment, the Lead Line Cook ensures food is delivered with quality, consistency, and timeliness.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and direct line cooks, assigning tasks and maintaining efficient kitchen operations during service.Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, standards, and plating guidelines.Ensure all dishes are produced with consistency, quality, and proper timing.Set up and maintain multiple kitchen stations with minimal supervision.Assist with food receiving, storage, inventory rotation, and maintaining proper par levels.Train and mentor new cooks on kitchen procedures, cooking techniques, and safety practices.Prepare complex menu components including soups, sauces, and garnishes.Maintain an organized workstation and support efficient food production.Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, including HACCP guidelines, FIFO practices, and sanitation procedures.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food handling, and kitchen organization.Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.Follow all club policies, safety standards, and professional conduct expectations.Assist other kitchen areas and perform additional duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Culinary school or apprenticeship program preferred.Experience in a high-quality, high-volume, or multi-unit culinary operation preferred.Two to five years of Lead or Senior Line Cook experience required.Supervisory experience required.Advanced cooking and knife skills required.Must be well versed in ala carte food preparation.Food Safety Training certification required.We participate in E-Verify/Drug Free Workplace/Equal Employment Employer
