ENTEK is excited to welcome a Warehouse Manager to our team in Terre Haute, Indiana. As the Warehouse Manager, you'll lead all warehouse operations supporting one of ENTEK's newest manufacturing facilities. You'll oversee receiving, inventory control, warehousing, material handling, shipping, and distribution while ensuring materials flow safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout the operation. Working closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service, you'll play a critical role in supporting production and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
What You'll Do
As a Warehouse Manager, you'll provide leadership for all warehouse operations while building a culture focused on safety, inventory accuracy, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead all warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, shipping, distribution, and material handling
  • Develop warehouse strategies that improve inventory accuracy, material flow, productivity, and space utilization
  • Establish and maintain warehouse operating procedures, standardized work, and best practices
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting programs, physical inventories, and effective inventory controls
  • Direct warehouse staffing, scheduling, labor planning, and workload prioritization
  • Oversee material movements and ensure accurate ERP inventory transactions
  • Maintain warehouse security and proper storage practices for raw materials, finished goods, tooling, production supplies, and hazardous materials
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, environmental requirements, and material handling procedures
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including inventory accuracy, shipping performance, receiving efficiency, productivity, safety, and customer service
  • Coordinate receiving and shipping priorities with Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service
  • Lead warehouse layout improvements, material flow optimization, and space utilization initiatives
  • Develop and mentor Warehouse Team Leads, Shipping & Receiving personnel, Inventory Control staff, Warehouse Associates, and Forklift Operators
  • Conduct safety inspections, warehouse risk assessments, and corrective action initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on inventory management, warehouse processes, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Support ERP enhancements, warehouse technology implementations, and capital equipment planning
  • Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve material presentation and point-of-use delivery
  • Support customer audits, supplier visits, warehouse expansion projects, and transportation optimization initiatives

Requirements
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a servant leader with strong operational experience who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and creating efficient warehouse operations that support manufacturing success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of warehouse, distribution, or supply chain experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience managing warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP inventory management systems
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP systems
  • Lean Manufacturing or Lean Warehouse experience
  • APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CLTD, or other supply chain certifications
  • Experience managing hazardous materials
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience supporting warehouse automation or facility expansion projects

Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday. This role is based on-site in Terre Haute and regularly works throughout warehouse, manufacturing, and office environments while supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Schedule flexibility may be required to support business needs, inventory activities, and operational priorities.
