Warehouse Supervisor – 1st Shift (Weekends Required)
Location: East Side of Indianapolis (near Shadeland Ave & English Ave)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $61,800 annually

Important Schedule & Job Requirements
This position requires a consistent weekend schedule. Please apply only if you are comfortable with the following:
- Work 5 days per week, including BOTH Saturday and Sunday (non-negotiable)
- Receive two consecutive weekday days off
- Work most holidays (facility closes only on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)
- Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear is required
- Attendance and punctuality are critical
- Union environment (prior union experience preferred, not required)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations on the 1st shift. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong people skills, warehouse operations experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unionized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations to meet productivity, safety, and quality goals
- Lead, coach, and support warehouse associates in a union environment
- Conduct regular floor walks to monitor operations, address concerns, and answer employee questions
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, inventory control, and customer service standards
- Schedule and lead safety meetings
- Provide performance feedback, coaching, training, and assist with performance reviews and discipline
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and workflow
- Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and maintain facility security
- Enforce company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Union experience a plus
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations and WMS systems
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office); typing speed of 25 WPM minimum
- Strong organization, planning, and communication skills
