Position Overview

The Business Unit Head, Injectable Aesthetics will drive the strategy, commercial performance, and growth of the injectable aesthetics portfolio. This role leads marketing, sales, and training teams, with a focus on product and commercial strategy, cross-functional medico-marketing, and brand optimization. Responsible for revenue growth, market expansion, and team excellence, while ensuring compliance and delivering measurable business impact.

This posting is for an active, open position based at Galderma Toronto Office with three days required on site. The role reports to the Country Manager, Canada with an annual base salary range of 200,000 - 235,000 CAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall strategy and execution for the Injectable Aesthetics business to drive sustainable growth, market leadership and long-term value creation, aligned with overall company objectives

  • Own full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, and budget management

  • Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and training functions, with direct and indirect responsibility for up to 50 employees within the business unit. Provide overall strategic direction, coordination, and performance oversight, ensuring effective workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and employee engagement in line with organizational policies

  • Design and execute innovative commercial strategies, including pricing, channel mix, customer segmentation, and go-to-market models

  • Develop and implement commercial excellence programs to optimize sales force effectiveness, customer engagement, and ROI on promotional spend

  • Drive brand strategy, portfolio optimization, and successful launch of new injectable products

  • Drive innovation across the portfolio, including new product launches, lifecycle management, and differentiated brand strategies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, aesthetic physicians, key accounts and partners

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities

  • Leverage market insights, data analytics, and competitive intelligence to optimize business performance

  • Ensure all commercial and promotional activities comply with regulatory, ethical, and governance standards

  • Represent the business unit at industry events, advisory boards, and strategic forums

  • Other duties and assigned

Requirements

  • Proven international leadership experience in commercial, marketing, and/or sales roles within the aesthetics industry

  • Comprehensive expertise in global aesthetics and medical device markets, with a strong grasp of market trends, competitive dynamics, commercial and pricing mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and strategic relationship management with key stakeholders and authorities

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized local or international university in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or master's degree in marketing (or equivalent) is a strong advantage

  • Completion of, or active participation in, an executive leadership development program, demonstrating advanced capabilities in leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making

  • Demonstrated experience managing business unit budgets with full P&L accountability, supported by strong financial acumen and a deep commercial understanding of pricing, forecasting, and profitability drivers

  • Proven ability to develop and execute short- and long-term commercial and/or marketing strategies that deliver accelerated, sustainable growth

  • Minimum two years of leading and executing robust marketing strategies, with a strong focus on digital product strategy, brand repositioning or portfolio optimization

  • High proficiency in data analysis and market research, with the ability to translate insights into actionable, value-creating business decisions

  • Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports, including setting clear objectives, coaching, performance evaluation, and talent development

  • Strong people leadership capabilities, with a consistent track record of motivating teams and building development and succession plans.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively present complex concepts in English; proficiency in French is an advantage

  • Ability to travel overnight as needed, estimated up to 30%
