What does a director commissioning do?

A Director of Commissioning oversees the commissioning process for new buildings or facilities, ensuring that all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner. They coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to verify that building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing function efficiently and safely. Their role is critical in minimizing operational issues and optimizing building performance from the outset.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills help in managing teams, clients, and complex projects effectively.
