Job description
Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Dedicated Local Flatbed Drivers in Woburn, MA. Drivers will be locally delivering forklifts, tow motors and their parts on flatbed trailers. Cheeseman Transport is a leading provider of transportation and supply chain solutions that was founded in 1946 growing from a single truck to a fleet of over 325 tractors and 1000 trailers with multiple service centers. Compensation
- Hourly pay rate: $34- $38
- Average hours weekly: 40
- Potential forovertime hours

Home Time, Route, & Schedule
- Home Time: Home daily
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shift: Starting around 7 - 7:30am
- Route: Dedicated routes deliveringwithin a 250 mile radius of Woburn, MA
- Level of Touch: Loading & unloading freight, must secure freight
- Includes strapping, chaining, and possibly tarping
Equipment
- Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner trucks
- Automatic transmission
- Governed speed: 68mph
- ELD equipped using Samsara
- Outward facing camera
- Covered landoll trailer
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL A license
- Must have 1 year of flatbeddriving experience
- Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
- No felony in the past 7 years
- No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Woburn, MA
