CNC Operator-Longmont, CO $25-$33/hr
Fuze HR is proud to partner with a local manufacturing company in Frederick, CO staffing for CNC Operators on all shifts, payrate based on experience $25-$33/hr. Company located approximately 10mins off the I-25 Firestone Exit.
About the Role
The CNC Machinist is responsible for independently setting up and operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, and ensuring all work meets strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role also includes leading and supporting team members on the shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex CNC machine setups and independently run production.
  • Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate daily work schedules for team members.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to CNC operators and junior machinists.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining and production issues.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
  • Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs, including advanced G-code modifications.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to support programming and machining processes.
  • Select and manage appropriate tooling and fixtures for jobs.
  • Monitor tooling and cutter usage; communicate needs and concerns to the CNC Supervisor.
  • Ensure effective communication across all shifts and with leadership.
  • Lead shift operations in the absence of the CNC Supervisor, including attending required meetings.
  • Oversee team performance, including attendance and productivity, and report concerns.
  • Enforce and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CNC machinist.
  • Proven ability to independently set up and operate CNC milling machines.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Shift: Sun-Thur 3rd Shift-11pm-7am ( $1.50 shift differential)
  • Training Required on 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
