Job description

As client services director, you will lead a team of HR professionals to provide services to Empowered Hospitality clients. You will be responsible for initiating, building and sustaining relationships, architecting and delivering leading HR solutions, supporting the development of our team, meeting financial targets, and contributing to the strategic growth of our firm. Prior experience in a consultative role, managing a P&L, liaising with senior-level executives, and managing projects is essential for this role, in addition to an understanding and appreciation of general HR principles, strategies and tactics. You must also bring tireless curiosity, exceptional attention to detail and unblemished professional ethics and integrity to our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Managing project scope, staffing and budget for a portfolio of clients
  • Steering strategy and action plans in collaboration with project teams
  • Cultivating accountability for attention to detail and risk management
  • Attending client meetings to review project deliverables, answer questions, and discuss opportunities
  • Providing regular client status reports
  • Proactively escalating potential concerns or issues
  • Nurturing new and existing relationships to expand our network, strengthen our brand, and identify prospective clients

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years' experience in consulting, account management, client relations, or consultative sales role, demonstrating strategic thinking, executive-level communication and senior relationship management skills
  • 5+ years' experience in hospitality operations or people management preferred
  • Experience building, leading and developing high-functioning teams
  • Exceptional MS office skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PMP, or other related certification preferred
