Job description

DEPARTMENT: Golf

JOB TITLE: Bag Room Attendant

REPORTS TO: Director of Golf

BENEFITS: Meals, paid time off, golf privileges

This position requires working weekends and holidays during peak season (May through September).

This position is responsible for creating an atmosphere of exceptional service for our Members in the bag room and on the course.

The Essentials

  • Daily interaction with members, guests, and staff.
  • Maintain the appearance of the bag room to keep it clean and organized.
  • Stores clubs in the correct pre-assigned member slots.
  • Work with the instructors to ensure that lesson bags get to the range promptly.
  • Work directly with the Caddie Master, golf assistants, and other professional staff to ensure the staging area is set professionally.
  • Be visible to members at all times
  • Directly responsible for ensuring rental sets are given out, charged, returned, and cleaned.

The Expectations

  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume atmosphere
  • Provide a seamless organizational and clean environment for members

The Standards

  • Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with members and staff
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to lift golf bags, boxes, and baskets of golf balls up to 50 lbs.
